SASCOC Brand and Communication Strategy

The brief

The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) briefed Janong to assist it with a Brand repositioning and communication strategies.

 

The problem

The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee was experiencing bad press in the media and wanted to reposition its own brand and its sub-brands, namely Team SA (Olympics, Paralympics and other teams) so that they can be eligible for sponsorship.

 

The research

Janong conducted research and developed a strategy for SASCOC, that repositioned them positively in the market, so that it can gain sponsorship.

 

a campaign for

loved ones.

The result

SASCOC adopted the strategy and will be going to the market with its new brand repositioning message aimed at corporate sponsors.
